Advanced Microprocessor Control
Power failure, power restored, battery failure or other events will be detected and the user informed. A shutdown will be initiated when the batteries are exhausted or a critical technical problem occurs with the UPS.

Manual Bypass Switch
Failsafe internal bypass switch with manual control for ease of maintenance.

Green Mode (Automatic Inverter Off) Function
The NS-Series switches to bypass when no load is present, but will immediately switch back to inverter power when the load returns. Protects battery capacity when used in conjunction with Cruiser^TM UPS control software.

Easy-to-Read Visual Display
A simple, clear visual display at the front of the unit gives an immediate indication of system status.

Integrated Smartcard Slot Provides a Choice
This allows the user to take advantage of a growing range of add-on cards providing facilities such as SNMP, remote web browser-based management, along with USA, AS400, and DB9 cards.

RS232 as Standard
The UPS Management software is installed on a server or workstation connected to each UPS via the serial port.

UPS Management Software
AEC's Cruiser^TM software allows you to monitor and control your UPS from remote locations.  Connections can be made via RS232 or USB.  In the event of a power failure or system shutdown, Cruiser^TM can send you warning messages via your pager, e-mail, or over a LAN.  This allows you to have a faster response time.
